Refund Policy
At Marurumi Safaris, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and delivering exceptional experiences. We understand that sometimes travel plans may change, and we strive to be as flexible and fair as possible in handling refunds.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are issued based on the cancellation notice period, as outlined in our Cancellation Policy. The percentage of the refund depends on how far in advance the cancellation is made before the scheduled departure date.
More than 120 days before departure: 75% refund
120 – 60 days before departure: 65% refund
60 – 30 days before departure: 50% refund
30 – 15 days before departure: 25% refund
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund
Please note that booking deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
Bank or transaction fees incurred during payment
Travel insurance
Activities or accommodations arranged with third-party providers that have non-refundable terms
No-shows and unused portions of the tour
Force Majeure Situations
In cases of unavoidable events (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political instability), refunds may be offered partially, or in the form of travel credit to be used within 12 months, depending on the situation and commitments already made to third-party providers.
Refund Process
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@marurumisafaris.com
Please include your full name, booking reference number, and reason for cancellation.
Once approved, refunds will be processed within 30 business days via the original payment method.
