Welcome to Marurumi Safaris. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once a deposit is received and a confirmation email is issued.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before the tour start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Bookings made less than 30 days before departure must be paid in full at the time of confirmation.
2. Payment Methods
We accept:
Bank transfers
M-Pesa
Credit/debit cards All payments must be made in Kenyan Shillings (KES) or US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
3. Pricing
Prices are quoted per person, unless stated otherwise, and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Rates may be adjusted due to currency fluctuations, changes in park fees, government taxes, or supplier costs.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation by the client is subject to our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
Marurumi Safaris reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or alternative tour will be offered.
5. Amendments
Changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional charges.
Amendments requested within 30 days of departure will be treated as cancellations and re-bookings, and cancellation fees may apply.
6. Health & Safety
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.
Marurumi Safaris is not liable for illnesses, injuries, or medical costs incurred during the trip.
It is strongly recommended that guests obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travel.
7. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any required travel documentation.
Marurumi Safaris will not be liable for costs incurred due to denied entry or lack of documentation.
8. Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and comfort, Marurumi Safaris is not liable for:
Delays, cancellations, or losses caused by third parties (e.g., airlines, lodges)
Injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the safari
Loss or damage to personal belongings
9. Use of Website
All content on this website is the property of Marurumi Safaris and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
You agree not to misuse the website or engage in activities that harm the company’s reputation or operations.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be handled under Kenyan jurisdiction.
