Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

You’ll depart after breakfast and drive southeast of Nairobi to the famous Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is on the Tanzanian border just northwest of Mount Kilimanjaro. It provides the most iconic and majestic views of the world’s highest free-standing mountain. It’s home to the biggest elephant families that ever existed numbering to over 1600 in 58 families. It is one of the most photographed wildlife areas in the world. The park is covered by both savanna grasslands and woodlands which all provide the best habitats for birdlife and other animals in the park. You will arrive at Sentrim Amboseli and check in. Then, you’ll proceed to the restaurant for your lunch. Afterwards, you will be escorted to your rooms, and have time to refresh and relax until 4:00 pm for the afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Exploring Amboseli National Park

Today’s itinerary is íexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives at around 7:00 am with a picnic lunch and return to the lodge/camp late in the afternoon. Or you can depart at 6:00 am on an early morning game drive. Later, you’ll return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax in the morning until midafternoon. Then at 4:00 pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. At 6:30 pm, you will return to the lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive northwest to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Along the route, you will pass through Central Kenya, where the climate is a lot cooler than the rest of Kenya due to its higher altitude, fertile volcanic soils and plenty of rainfall. The central highlands is the most populated and cultivated region. You will be arriving in good time for lunch. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is situated near the equator, between the foothills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya. After lunch, you will have a short rest then proceed for your afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five as well as the unique resident wildlife species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, without forgetting the chimpanzees. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Driving through Ol pejeta Conservancy

Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a half-day game drive at around 7:00 am, come back for late lunch and enjoy the facilities in the hotel. Or, you can have a full-day game drive with packed lunch and explore the plains of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This is home to hundreds of both black and white rhinos, chimps and other wildlife. It is also home to the last two of the Northern white rhinos that remain in the world. After the game drive, you will head back to the lodge/camp freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and the overnight stay.

Depart for Lake Naivasha

You will leave Ol Pejeta Conservancy after breakfast and drive through the beautiful landscape to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that lies in the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at your lodge in good time for a hot lunch. There are so many activities to choose from. A boat ride in Lake Naivasha and a walking safari in the animal sanctuary or a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park. You can also choose to take the afternoon relaxing at the hotel enjoying the beautiful sceneries along the shores of Lake Naivasha. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, You will depart for Masai Mara and arrive in time for a hot lunch. You will then check in and proceed to the restaurant to have lunch. Later, you will be led to your rooms to refresh or take a nap before heading for an afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm. A safari in Masai Mara is truly an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is without a doubt one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa. After the game drive, you will return to the camp/lodge and refresh awaiting your dinner, then an overnight stay.

Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve

You will depart from the lodge after breakfast with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have abundant time to traverse this huge savanna plains for unlimited game viewing seeing the Big Five and many other animals at a close range. From July to October, things get busy in the Great Rift Valley. Millions of zebras and wildebeests make the dangerous journey to Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. As they are crossing the Mara River, crocodiles and other predators will prey on them, leaving hundreds dead on the bank of the Mara River. This is an experience you don’t want to miss. After a long day in the wild, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Drive Back to Nairobi
